Here's the truth. No one is good enough to get into heaven. Psalm 53:3 says, "There is none who does good, No, not one." Isaiah 64:6 also says, "all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags..." Even if you don't steal, lie or murder, you're still not a good person. Why? Because we were born with sin. Romans 3:23 says, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." So if we're not good enough, who is good enough? John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." God sent His son Jesus to pay the price for us once and for all. He took our sin and hung on a cross for you and for me. Therefore, we don't have to pay for our sins. All we have to do is believe in the gospel of Jesus. That He died, was buried, and resurrected on the third day. These are His words "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." There is no other way to God except through Jesus. There is no other way to heaven except through Jesus. And with Jesus comes healing, restoration, happiness, joy, and peace. He takes away all the guilt, shame, and burdens of our sin.

A lot of times people say they'll surrender their lives to Jesus when they're older, but here's the thing. We're not promised tomorrow. So don't wait until you're older, get saved today! All you have to do is say these words and mean it with your whole heart.

"Dear God. I humbly come before You in prayer acknowledging that I am a sinner and that I need a Savior. I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that Jesus died on the cross for my sins, was buried, and resurrected on the third day. I ask that You come into my heart today and change me from the inside out. I repent of my sins and I am deciding to follow You all the days of my life. Fill me with your Spirit and help me to pursue You with my whole heart. I pray this in Jesus name. Amen."
